Welcome to this web site, where you can share some of my nature photographs, especially from Balearic islands, where I live. I apologize for my English, no as good as I would like.

Photograph nature implies an intimate contact with the elements that comprise it. This proximity allows us to discover its secrets, that are absolutely thrilling, and share them with everyone, even with those who don't know about this inexhaustible source of surprises and satisfactions. It is true that to get some images, the main virtue is simply being there. That may involve to wake up at non reasonable hours or a long hike, efforts that are not always rewarded. We never know for what are we going to find at our destiny. And that's one of the things that makes nature photography so exciting, but never simple.

To us, nature photographers, being a privileged spectators further motivates us to actively participate in its conservation. We do no want, no one should want it, that this natural spectacle ever ends. Therefore our pictures should not only be a source of personal satisfaction but also a valuable tool to spread the small and big wonders that surround us.

With the advent of digital technology we have the most important revolution of photography from its invention. The material changes at a rapid pace, the chances are increasing every day, but we should not forget that things like patience, enthusiasm and knowledge of the environment in which we operate are, now more than ever, essential if we want to achieve our award, this picture showing our unique and personal way of understanding the nature photography.
